Phew, this was the longest page to make yet, with roughly twice the panels compared to last page! I cursed myself a bit, but I wouldn’t take one of them away, and I actually liked working on it, I don’t feel quite as clumsy with the lines as I did with the few past pages.
Edit : due to the goat gag being not fully understood (though the actress is definitely awesome, thank you Ms. Goat Queen), I have redrawn the 13th panel for it to be clearer. The old page is here.
The protagonist of your story does indeed lack a certain amount of caution that one would deem reasonable or civil. Conveniently, he also resides in a place where neither reason nor civility reign.
You must also consider that few leads mean few options, and our hero has to investigate all of them to find what is hidden.

Ah, I think I see what you mean, and I wondered how well what I intended would come across. No he didn’t, the goat just does a random creepy goat head spin. That’s a thing they do, but doing research I realized that it isn’t as well-known as I thought. Heh, my next attempt at humor will maybe be more thought-out^^.
I took it as a weird head movement that made our protagonist nope out of there but I wasn’t sure if I was correct. Guess I was. XD
You were^^ even so, I’m reworking the panel right now. Everything in the comic isn’t made to be understood right away, but I’d really prefer simple jokes to land with most people!
The action in the page should be clearer now 🙂
