"Donc, voilà le choix que nous leur avons laissé : soit publiquement se dédire de leur foi en la Confrérie Illuminée de Dagram avant de s'ouvrir le ventre, soit être envoyé dans les Rocs.
Vous seriez surpris d'apprendre le nombre d'entre eux qui choisirent la mauvaise réponse."
Capitaine Merlo de Termignan, attaché à l'Ambassade Impériale de Kizh.

What is seemingly a choice between two options can often be one choice disguised as two. This is also a critical principle of working in diplomacy. I am grateful that many of my colleagues in the embassy, such as Advisor Taylin See and Captain Merlo, are well-educated, and understand the difference between a true choice and a false one.
This is to say nothing of the Kizhi education system, as most people I work with in the embassy were trained in Golemia.
Let’s just hope that those who will live on do not uncover yet other options to make our lives difficult. The Rocks seemed a safe bet, and we just couldn’t have executed so many notables at once without massive backlash. We’ll have to keep eyes on them.
As I will be sharing with the bureau in my full report, I am confident that of the choices available at the time, the bureau made the correct ones. For the most part, the crisis of the Dagram Brotherhood in Kizh is resolved, though we may have yet to see the full repercussions of it. To my knowledge, there have been no reports of those who were sent to the rocks, though the chronicler will know more than I.
Oh, they should be arriving soon, and then dispatched to multiple locations to appreciate the landscapes even more. I have no doubt that you will be informed before me, thank you in advance for your report.
The learned Captain Merlo even signaled it was a false choice in his usage of “either, either” rather than the usual “either, or”.
Ah, shit! Second time I make that mistake (and on the same page). Thanks, correcting this right away.
:(((((((((((((((((((((((( poor guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, don’t worry, he’ll get back up! I still have much use for him.
Uh oh, looks like our hero’s going to have to fight whether he wants to or not. =/
Well, that’s not counting the giant eagles coming to the rescue!!!
Oh, nuts, wrong story. The only mystical beasts here are beings of existential dread.
