My landlord called last week to announce he’s selling the house.
Everything was ready for me to work on the comic full-time once again. I had rested for one month, not even falling ill like I thought I would. My funds would have lasted me for up to two years in the event where I wouldn’t be able to make money. I had the energy, the time, the capital. I had worked toward that moment for two years.
And in just one phone call, it’s all void! I have little time to find a replacement, and so am at it 24\/7, and unless there’s a golden opportunity, will likely have to engage most of my savings and\/or time to get a new place that is somewhat stable. I may have to renovate myself, I may have to get a new full-time job.
Now, there are a lot of possibilities ahead, and again, I’ll aim toward those that are most likely to allow me working on the comic. Maybe I’ll even go to another country, who knows. Either way, it might be some time before a good setup happens again. I’d really like to find a good solution.
