Clearly they specialize in breaking one rib, not all of them at once.
It takes great skill.
Mind you, it takes as much skill to break all 24 of them at once. So most of the time they compromise.
I can only surmise that the reason any people exist among the Rocks at all is because they are either forced to live in communities, or so few and far between that they simply cannot find each other in time to beat the others to death!
Living among the Rocks is truly a fate worse than death, for any civilized folk. If even a fraction of what you say about the creatures there is true – I daresay I am glad that my caravan has protection when I am forced to go anywhere near that wretched place.
Nonetheless, I must hope that the Little Warrior prevails in the end. At least his desire not to fight is somewhat more reasonable than the barbarism the other fighter has shown in your tale.
Not everyone in the Rocks are Warriors. But it’s true that, faced with scarcity, civilities vanish more quickly than stuffed ducklings at Condotierre Azar’s parties. Let’s just hope we don’t ever come to this here.

It is surprising to hear that particular anecdote mentioned, as the last time I attended one of Condotierre Azar’s parties, itself a rare occasion for me, there was indeed a brief altercation over the last stuffed duckling. I was not involved, though I do want the recipe, and if you happen to have it, please do send it along as part of the next bureau communique.
It is also surprising because I had heard recently some strange rumors surrounding Condotierre Azar. Of course, I prefer not to meddle in such things – and moreover, army politics have never been my forte. I do not think, though, that we have anything to worry about with scarcity or uncouth behaviour overrunning Golemia.
Golemia, and its people, are under the guiding gaze of not only the imperium, and by extention many in the bureau, but more importantly, our city is under the gaze of the Golems. Civility will win out, always, in Golemia.
Odd, I always figured you to have been at least once or twice in Night District… maybe my sources were unreliable. You would know a lot more of civilities in our fine city.
As for the recipe, I indeed have it in one of the files, but please trust me, you certainly don’t want to read it. And I sincerely hope that Azar has, as usual, no clue about it.
